We took action on two items.
- We'll start planning for the long term by individually drafting site plans for the garden. We'll bring these drafts back to our next meeting on Thursday, June 25, 7pm, and pool our ideas to come up with the best overall long term plan.
- Most of this season's garden will be planted in pumpkins. But about a fifth has been subdivided into six 3' x 20' plots. Drip water lines will be installed. Teams of two have been assigned to garden these plots. These plots are for this season and will not necessarily make it into the final long term plan (but then again, they may).
All are welcome to join us. We're not a happy gardening club to meet our own green thumb needs. We're gardening to advance the Good News of Jesus Christ in our community.

This is a great start. When you teach someone to reap what they sow....well...read the good book to find out what happens!
Wait... but we are sowing something physical. Maybe we ought to reconsider.
And just to be clear- we're not an unhappy or surly gardening group.
Surly gardeners create Carl's Jr.'s "angry onions" for its burgers.
